A bakery, butcher, supermarket, and various restaurants are located between 100 and 500 meters from the house. Frankenau is known for its location and beautiful nature on the edge of the Sauerland. You are close to the Kellerwald National Park, where you can enjoy scenic walks through the mountainous landscape. The largest reservoir in Germany, the Edersee, is also nearby.
