Holiday home Trift is situated in Weiler Unter den Bodmen, near Saas Grund, "the heart of the Saas valley". The holiday home Trift is on the first floor and has a surface of 100 m. You can expect modern furniture and large, light spaces here. The big sliding doors give you direct access to the balcony where you can admire the Alpine world. The holiday home is only 2 minutes away from the village centre. Its quiet location in the beautiful Alpine fields and forests allows you to enjoy the Alpine mountain world to the full. You are surrounded by the beauty of nature whether you choose to visit the mountain goats early in the morning or savour the setting sun on the mountains of the Mischabelkette! In winter you can be active in various winter sports activities from December to April. In the ski region of Saas Fee, Saas Grund and Saas Almagell snow is guaranteed with mountain tops that reach the 1600 to 3500 m mark.

There are daily bus connections to Saas Fee (10 min.) and Saas Almagell/Grund (5 min.). In summer mountain climbing and hiking with the view on the Mischabelkette is very popular here. Other activities such as mountain biking, tennis, minigolf, alpine golf and toboggans are also on offer in the Saas valley. Please bear into mind, that the mountain cable-cars aren't always running in spring and autumn. In short : this alpine region offers many opportunities in summer and winter to turn your holiday into an adventure! New from summer 2012, there is an electronic guest card which gives you free access to all cable cars in the Saas Valley, Metro Alpin and the bus lines. It is obligatory to buy this guest card and valid for the summer. You can explore the entire walking area of the Saas Valley.

Heel mooi,goed verzorgd, comfortabel huis. In de keuken was alles wat nodig was. Sanitair was heel goed. De bedden waren uitstekend. Het huis ligt heel rustig in een prachtige omgeving. Je hebt er talloze mogelijkheden om te wandelen, je kunt kiezen hoe lang en hoe zwaar je wandeling is. Er zijn ook voldoende mogelijkheden zonder echt klimwerk. We zijn de eerste week van mei geweest, dan zijn de skibanen gesloten en kun je geen gebruik maken van stoeltjesliften. Ook waren veel restaurants gesloten ivm bedrijfsvakantie. Nadeel we kwamen op zaterdagavond aan. De winkels zijn dan al gesloten en gaan pas weer op maandag open. We hebben in deze week niet alles in de omgeving gezien en zouden nog graag een keer terug willen. Familie Kuijpers
