We started with only 8 awards. Over the years more and more awards were granted and also the naming changed. But although the titles changed, the intention remained the same: the homeowners who were awarded the awards proved without exception to have mastered the hospitality down to the last detail.

Each year, award winning houses are carefully selected on the basis of specific and strict criteria. The winning homeowners receive a certificate to show in their holiday home. New guests see so upon arrival that this house has been voted one of the most popular Belvilla's by previous visitors.
