Situated on a promontory of the Wittow peninsula, Dranske is bordered by the Baltic Sea to the west and the Wieker Bodden to the east. Fine sandy beaches can be found in the surrounding area – the most beautiful are only about 5 km away. A special highlight: the breathtaking sunsets over the open sea with a view of the island of Hiddensee. The surrounding area offers excellent tourist infrastructure with shops, restaurants, boat and bicycle rentals, and an idyllic harbor with a promenade.
