Located in Oud-Turnhout in Belgium, this holiday home offers a perfect base for a family holiday with its 3 bedrooms, sleeping 5 people in total. The holiday home itself is located in a wooded nature area, which means that hikers and cyclists can enjoy themselves to their hearts' content, and as the garden has 2 terraces, a trampoline, sandpit and play equipment, this ensures that children will not be bored for a second. You can also enjoy the cosy warmth of the pellet stove inside. Pellets are provided. So this place is great for hikers, cyclists, sports enthusiasts and guests with pets. The cosy chalet is within walking distance of numerous nature reserves. In Oud-Turnhout itself, there are opportunities for cosy dining, drinking and shopping. The centre of Turnhout is also nearby and it is pleasant to linger at the terraces on the Grote Markt, for shopping, visiting museums or eating out in the cosy restaurants.

For guests who like to be a bit more active, both Tilburg and Bobbejaanland are nearby. Additional facilities such as espresso machine with winter liqueurs, Belgian chocolate and local beer, gourmet/stone grill are offered free of charge. A cot and high chair are available. BBQ and open fire are not allowed in this nature reserve. The pellet stove is on from October to April. The wood-burning stove, air-conditioned heating are always present. Pellets and 1 large basket of firewood are included in the winter months. An extra basket can be purchased on site for 15 euros. Excessive energy consumption (over 100 kWh) may incur an additional charge. Excessive water consumption (over 1.5 m3) may incur an additional charge.

Wat een heerlijk huisje! Ik was meteen verkocht door hoe knus huis én tuin zijn ingericht. Dit huisje is door de eigenaars met liefde aangekleed alsof het voor henzelf zou zijn. De eigenaars waren ook super gastvrij, er stond zelfs al een lekker hapje en drankje klaar voor ons. Daarnaast was er ook genoeg badlinnen, keukendoeken en fleece dekentjes voorzien. Het is ook echt een zalige omgeving om te wandelen (met honden). Je bent direct aan heel wat wandelroutes zonder eerst drukke wegen te moeten doorkruisen. Het is echt een vakantie in eigen land geweest voor ons. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!
